Baneling
A variant of the zergling – the claws shrink, while the abdomen swells and fills with acid. Upon death (or suicide charge), banelings burst, splashing acid on everything within 5 yds. Zerg are immune to this acid, so killing one baneling in a swarm doesn't set off a chain-reaction.

Baneling Variants
• “Hunter Strain” – as Raptor Strain (Zergling variant).
• “Splitter Strain” – Upon death, also creates two smaller banelings (use stats for a Drone, but no needle attack) who each explode for 5d corr ex damage (dDmg 1d-3).
