Heavy Vehicular Weapons

Far too heavy for even the largest battlesuit, these weapons come mounted on Terran Vehicles. Note that all damage is given in decade-scale (dDmg); see Scaling Damage, p. B470.

Standard Machine Gun Mounts
Many vehicles have mounts which can attach Standard Battlesuit Weapons – Assault Cannon (25mm), Gauss HMG (8mm), Gauss Minigun (7mm), or Heavy Chaingun (15mm).

Heavy Assault Cannon, 40mm – Gunner (Cannon)
Most often mounted on the arms of the Goliath, these versatile cannons can fire a variety of 40mm warheads.
Statistics: dDmg by warhead; Acc 6; Range 2000/10000; RoF 10; Rcl 3.
APHEX: 6d(2) pi++, follow-up 1 cr ex [1].
APEP: 7d(3) pi+.
EMP: Electrical targets within 16yd roll HT-8(2) or stunned/disabled.
HEX: 6d cr ex [1d].
Thermobaric: 6d cr ex inc.

Heavy Minigun, 20mm – Gunner (Cannon)
Standard arm-mounted weapons for the Viking in walker mode.
Statistics: dDmg 3d(3) pi+; Acc 8; Range 2K/5K; RoF 100; Rcl 2.

Heavy Railgun, 30mm – Gunner (Cannon)
Trademark weapon of the Diamondback hover-tank, this armor-piercing marvel can punch holes in the most heavily-armored targets.
Statistics: dDmg 3dx5(3) pi++; Acc 8; Range 8K/20K; RoF 1; Rcl 2.

Laser Cannon – Gunner (Beams)
Heavy laser turrets on a Battle-Cruiser, used primarily for point-defense and ground assault. The heavier model (dDmg 6dx10) is standard on the Super-Cruiser, the lighter (dDmg 4dx10)on the normal Battle-Cruiser.
Statistics: dDmg 4dx10(2) or 6dx10(2) burn; Acc 18; Range 72K/220K; RoF 1; Rcl 1.

Laser, Strike – Gunner (Beams)
Mounted for ground assault on the Wraith aerospace fighter.
Statistics: dDmg 4d(2) burn; Acc 18; Range 18K/54K; RoF 1; Rcl 1.

Missile, 100mm – Artillery (Guided Missile) or Gunner (Rockets)
The most common vehicle-mounted missiles, often fired in clusters. Standard armament on everything from a Banshee to a Goliath to the point-defense and ground strike weapons of a Super-Carrier.
Statistics: dDmg by warhead; Acc 6; Range 3K/10K; RoF Varies; Rcl 1.
EMP: Electrical targets within 32yd roll HT-8(2) or disabled.
HEX: 6dx3 cr ex [3d].
Shaped Charge: 6d(10) cr inc, linked 1d+2 cr ex [1d-3].
Thermobaric: 6dx3 cr ex inc.

Nuclear Missile – Artillery (Guided Missile)
Launched from land-based silos or Battle-Cruisers; damage by warhead yield (see p. UT156 and Spaceships, p. 68).

Plasma Flamer Turret – Gunner (Beams)
Similar to the Firebat's Perdition heavy plasma flamer, but bigger. Standard armament of Hellion Assault ATVs and Hellbat ATV/Walkers.
Statistics: dDmg 3d burn; Acc 8; Range 300/900 (Cone, 2yd); RoF 1; Rcl 1.

Tank Cannon, 100mm – Artillery (Cannon) or Gunner (Cannon)
The primary weapons of both the heavy Siege Tank and the gargantuan Thor combat walker.
Statistics: dDmg by warhead; Acc 6; Range 3K/10K; RoF 1; Rcl 4.

APEP: 6dx4(3) pi+.

Yamato Cannon – Artillery (Beams)
The legendary spinal weapon of the Battle-Cruiser, a massive energy cannon capable of great destruction – including devastating strikes from orbit.
Statistics: dDmg 2dx100(2) burn; Acc 18; Range 72K/220K; RoF 1 (30); Rcl 1.
