Ordnance And Support Weapons

Generally only mounted to Heavy Combat Suits – and generally in pairs – these weapons are most often used to support squads of standard battlesuit troopers. Both are capable of dishing out large amounts of wide-area damage which battlesuited friendlies are largely immune to. This is particularly useful when fighting large numbers of lighter-armored enemies (e.g. Zerg).

“K-12 Punisher” Quad Rocket Launcher , 64mm – Gunner (Rockets) or Artillery (Guided Missile)
Standard armaments for the “Marauder” Heavy Combat Suit, these self-loading missile-pods can fire the full assortment of 64mm warheads at a high rate of fire (high for rocket launchers, anyway – not Gauss-gun high), making them useful against lightly and heavily-armed targets.

“Perdition” Heavy Plasma Flamer – Gunner (Beams)
Like lower-tech flamethrowers, these weapons fill an area with fiery doom. While very deadly against light- or unarmored targets, making them quite useful at toasting un-powered infantry and smaller Zerg units, they're much less effective against battlesuits and armored vehicles.

*Plasma Flamers spray an adjustable Cone (p. B103), with an endpoint width of up to 10yds, with range divided by the endpoint width (e.g. a 2-yd Cone has Range 75/225, a 5-yd Cone has Range 30/90, and a 10-yd Cone has Range 15/45).

“AGP-2 Thumper” Auto Electromag Grenade Launcher, 40mm – Guns (Grenade Launcher)
Often a light vehicle-mount weapon, this rapid-fire grenade launcher can blanket an area with 40mm ordnance.
Statistics: Damage by 40mm grenade; Acc 4; Range 300/2000; RoF 6; Shots 20(5); ST 14†; Bulk -8; Rcl 2. Weight 65 lbs (+20 lbs).

Infantry Missile Launcher, 64mm – Gunner (Rocket), Guns (LAWS), or Artillery (Guided Missile)
Most standard infantry Marines carry a single-shot 64mm rocket launcher, which can be fired using Gunner (Rockets) or Guns (LAWS) for direct-fire rocket attacks, or Artillery (Guided Missile) to lock-on tracking and homing missiles.

Grenades, 40mm
Grenades for the AGP-2 Auto GL and the M-41A Pulse Rifle's underbarrel GL; they can also be used as mini hand grenades, with a 2-sec delay. Weight 0.25 lb each (or 5 lbs for “enough” of one kind of 40mm grenade; or 20 lbs for “enough” of all kinds of 40mm grenades).
EMP: Electrical targets with 4yd roll HT-8(2) or stunned/disabled.
HEX: 8d cr ex [2d]. (dDmg 1d-1 [1].)
Scrambler, Comms: 40yd rad; radio comms require a roll at -10 to get a signal into or out of the area.

Available as standard Rockets or IR Homing Missiles (p. UT146) for 64mm launchers; as Smart Grenades (UT146); or as Limpet Mines (UT147). Weight 1 lb each (or 20 lbs for “enough” of one specific kind of device, e.g. Shaped Charge Limpet Mines; or 100 lbs for either “enough” rockets and missile or “enough” grenades and mines).
