Phoenix - Aerospace Superiority Fighter

A relatively new design, the Phoenix is a fast and maneuverable fighter that mounts a pair of Ion Cannons (identical to Photon Cannons) for air-to-air combat. The pilot can also focus the ship's warp engines through the maneuver drives, creating a gravitic pulse which immobilizes both his own ship and a single enemy target of equal or lesser size (and within 1000yd); or through the Ion Cannons, unleashing a phoenix-like burst of destructive energy in a 100yd radius (rendering the ship immobile and powerless for 10 seconds).
